What a slot looks like
Below is the placement exactly as it appears on a city page, drawn with the same component the live site uses. If the design changes, this page changes with it, so nothing here can drift away from what you would actually get.
Both businesses below are invented. Bluebonnet Pediatric Dentistry and Rio Swim School do not exist, the links go to example.com, and nothing on this page is a real booking. It is here so you can see the format before you buy one.
On a city page
One slot per page, below the list of programs and above the filters. A parent has read the register by the time they reach it.
End of the list of programs on, say, /dfw/plano/
...and the rest of the page continues.
A second category, for comparison
This is what the same slot looks like sold to a different category. The two would never appear on one page: there is one slot per page.
What is fixed, and what is yours
- Fixed: the words Paid placement above the slot, your
category name beside them, the dashed border, and
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"on your link. That last one is a search-engine requirement for paid links and is not negotiable in either direction. - Yours: the business name, a headline of about six words, two lines of body text, a phone number and a link.
- Not available: images, logos, scripts, tracking pixels, video, anything that animates. The pages are static files and load in well under a second, which is most of the reason anybody reads them.
Where it does not appear
Not on a provider's own page, and specifically never beside a named program's citation history. An advertiser's name next to somebody's inspection record reads as an endorsement of that program or an attack on it, and neither is a thing we will sell.
Rates and categories A page in one of the twenty largest cities is $600 a month, and it is the only placement on it, in any trade.
